Context

Software for real operational work.

Warehouse software has to reflect how goods actually move: into stock, between locations, out to a recipient and through repair cycles. My work brings these responsibilities into a shared operational platform.

Problem

One inventory. Many kinds of movement.

A transfer, an external delivery and a repair are different events. Treating them as the same operation creates misleading validation and reporting. The interface and the underlying rules need to agree.

Architecture

Separate the movement from the view.

The application connects movement records, warehouse context, repair status and management reporting. Each operation keeps its own meaning while contributing to a coherent view of inventory.

Solution

Make operational intent explicit.

Dedicated flows support receipts, issues, transfers and repair tracking. Reporting follows the same operational definitions as the registration workflows so that a valid event does not become an apparent reporting error.

Technology

A pragmatic application stack.

PHP application logic, JavaScript interfaces and relational data support the platform. The architecture prioritizes understandable rules and maintainable reporting over unnecessary infrastructure.

Interface

Designed around the task at hand.

The core interaction is the operational record: the item, its movement, its location and the next action. The architecture illustration shows the relationship between those responsibilities; it is not a production screenshot.

Automation

Support the next handoff.

Repair due dates and return records provide the foundation for reminders and follow-up reporting. Automated delivery needs its own operational checks; an email being generated is not the same as one reaching its recipient.

Results

A shared operational workspace.

The platform brings stock, movement, repair and reporting workflows into a common application. No percentage improvements or reliability guarantees are claimed here without a measured baseline.

Engineering decisions

The business rule is the source of truth.

Validation must model real operations, including transfers within a location and supported deliveries outside the warehouse. Reporting should reuse those definitions, while changes are introduced with backups and regression checks.
